CHANEL MARACUYA
PRODUCT DEVELOPEMENT

The project suggested to Chanel is the development of a new range of cosmetics in Latin America, following the current trends in fragrances and cosmetics: fruit-based natural products. This new line will feature the fragrance of "maracuya" (passion fruit).
Green tones, floral and fruity notes, lightness of nature—this range will create a juicy, shiny, and slightly sweet fragrance, with an intense vitamin touch that awakens the senses.
Natural cosmetics offer the advantage of being rich in vitamins A and C, providing vitality to both the body and hair—an important factor in the Latin American market.
The perfume market represents a significant growth opportunity for luxury. Currently, perfumes account for €15.2 billion, with a growth rate of 5.7% over the past ten years. Exports are particularly dynamic, growing at 7.4%.
The production of this fruit requires a tropical and subtropical climate. The "maracuya" is a native Brazilian product. We suggest developing this product in Brazil and other emerging countries in Latin America.
