TOMÉ MONTEIRO
The jeweller to the queens

MELLERIO dits MELLER is the oldest fine jewelry house, tracing its legacy back to 1613. For over four centuries, this family-run maison has passed on a passion for exquisite craftsmanship from one generation to the next. Throughout its history, MELLERIO has captivated the hearts of queens across Europe, starting with Marie de Médicis, and has become the go-to jeweler for many prestigious clients—including royal and imperial families from France, Europe, and around the globe, as well as celebrities and artists.
The first jeweler to establish itself on Rue de la Paix in 1815, MELLERIO has helped transform this legendary street into a global symbol of French luxury. Known for its unparalleled expertise in the selection and craftsmanship of precious stones, MELLERIO stands out for its unique know-how.
In 2013, the house celebrated its 400th anniversary as a tribute to the queens and princesses who have made MELLERIO their personal jeweler—such as Marie de Médicis, who was the brand’s first royal patron and bestowed royal privileges through decree. The Medicis Collection pays homage to this legacy, blending grace and poetry, with floral motifs that eulogize the blooming lily, the royal emblem.
